BYU 14 Oklahoma 13

We went to Dallas over the Labor Day weekend to visit with the Flake family and to go see the BYU v. Oklahoma game. It was awesome. The game was held in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium that was recently built with a price tag of $1.3 billion.
This trip was a serious haul. We took all six kids for the 16.5 hour car ride each way. It was worth it to see the Cougs knock off OU!

We also got to take in some of the sites in Dallas. We went downtown Dallas to see where JFK was killed. In this picture we are standing in front of the street JFK was driving on when he was shot. Behind us is the infamous "grassy knoll."

SCORE BOARD!

We went to lunch at Babe's Chicken. They served fried chicken, country fried chicken, and chicken fingers. That is it. It was great as well.

This is Powell in front of the 'grassy knoll."

The "X" on the street marks the spot where the presidential limousine was when JFK was shot.

The upper right hand window (partially cracked open) was where Kennedy was shot from.

And what would a trip be to Dallas without stopping by the American Girl store.
